What is unique and different about your setup?
It’s always been a pretty unique set-up. One of the interesting things here apart from the different Italian and varietals that are being made here is that we have 14 different people out the back, all with varied personalities, tastes and styles. So it can be an interesting place and vintage.
What are some of the secrets you like to share with interstate visitors and tourists when they stop in?
People from overseas and some interstate people don’t know the proximity to the beach once they hit the McLaren Vale. There is just a stunning coastline and a great lifestyle here. Good food culture.
Why did you choose this site in McLaren Flat to set up the business?
Adam started with his brand La Curio Wines 15 years ago. Back in the day, there was nothing around the McLaren Vale area where people could come and group together and make really small batches of wine and share information. It’s a bit of a carry on from those days.
