Every November the Norwood Christmas Pageant sets the parade alight with colourful floats, music, performers and entertainment galore. Families can join the fun from early in the day when children are encouraged to decorate the street with chalk Christmas drawings, before enjoying the festivities of the Pageant, which is widely regarded as one of Adelaide’s best.

FAMILY FRIENDLY LIBRARY PROGRAMS
At each of the three Norwood Payneham and St Peters Council libraries, you will find a hub of activity, with multiple programs offered free of charge. Parents and carers of children aged 0-2 are welcome to attend Baby Bounce and Rhyme sessions which introduce infants to the library through interactive songs and nursery rhymes. The program is inclusive and siblings are also welcome to attend.

Another fantastic community service available through the NPSP libraries is the School Holiday Program. With sessions generally free of charge the program is extremely popular and parents are encouraged to book in advance.

Stage 2 of the Tour begins on The Parade and brings with it the “Norwood on Tour Street Party”.
