“We were fortunate to receive 4 of the state IGA awards this year including deli of the year, produce of the year, innovation and store of the year in SA.

What is your elevator statement?
Promote the local produce and we have lots of wonderful local produces including eggs, berries, vegetables and cheeses. We also aim to provide great customer service, our staff are always very welcoming and friendly.

Why did you choose Mount Compass to set up your business?
We are locals and have lived here for about 30 years. I gave up teaching to run a small veggie shop and have been in business since 1988.

What are some of the secrets you like to share with interstate visitors and tourists when they stop in?
All the local produce and producers and the fact that Mount Compass is fresh and green – a lovely place to tour around.
