As we look back on 2022, it has been a year of ‘growth’ for our entire team at OC. Nationally, it has been transformative time for the real estate industry. With surging inflation and rapidly rising interest rates, the Australian housing market has experienced slower activity compared to 2021.
Over the last 12 months, Australian dwelling values have dipped -0.9%, marking the first annual decline since October 2019. However, Adelaide and regional South Australia have been consistent performers throughout the year.
With gratitude and incredible appreciation, OC heads into 2023 with a sense of pride and optimism about the future. This year we sold more than 1080 properties, close to $1.43 billion dollars’ worth of property. We conducted 4686 inspections (Open) with approximately 35000 attendees.
On a national level, properties continued to take longer to sell, with the median days on the market increasing to 36 days. However, as a result of our team’s dedication, OC property has a median day on market of 25.9 days and a solid auction clearance rate of 90%.
We strive to provide a positive work environment that encourages individual growth. Thus, we launched OC cadetship program, created clear career pathways, revised sales manager model, introduced employee health benefits program, and continued to provide industry-best training and resources to our team.
OC Property Management team has done a great job managing more than 1600 properties. With an overall customer satisfaction rating of 4.5/5.
OC Projects team celebrated the significant achievement of Market Square project, a piece of history which solidified trust in our brand and added exciting new projects to our portfolio, including, Otto Townhomes, Coast Henley Beach South, Botten + Bowser, Hyde Park Place, Tranquilla, and 8+ confidential projects in pipeline.

We refreshed our brand, transformed our digitals, and after an extensive review process, launched ‘OC First’- online listing platform, where you can get access to our off-market and soon-to-be-released properties before they hit the market.
Last but not the least, we continued to support our community by contributing to several initiatives, including Childhood Cancer, Share the Dignity, Vinnies Bin, Soup & Sleep, and the Hutt St Centre’s Walk a Mile campaign.
