Alex Ouwens is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of OC Real Estate, one of Australia’s leading independent real estate brands. Since launching the business in 2014 with long-time business partner Nathan Casserly, Alex has helped shape a purpose-driven company built on growth, innovation, and people.

Alex began his real estate career in 2006 with a strong desire to help people grow their wealth, elevate their lifestyle, and achieve long-term success through property. Known for his strategic mindset and high-energy leadership, he is passionate about career development and creating opportunities that empower OC team members to thrive both professionally and personally.

A lifelong learner and deep thinker, Alex aligns his values with the principles of Stoic philosophy, including clarity, courage, discipline, and justice. He was the youngest-ever President of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) and is a sought-after speaker at industry events and leadership-focused podcasts across Australia.

Beyond work, Alex is committed to giving back through his ongoing support of the Childhood Cancer Association, a cause close to his heart. A proud Crows supporter, keen adventurer, and enthusiastic traveller, he values new experiences and global perspectives. His greatest pride is his family. Alex’s wife, Paula, and their three children, Maya, Van, and Finn, keep him grounded, inspired, and always leading with heart.
