For the first time in 30 years the opportunity exists to purchase this beautiful and unique piece of history in one of the earliest parts of McLaren Vale. Built circa mid 1800s the past radiates from every nook and cranny of this charming cottage; one of the few remaining properties to form the original village of Gloucester before it was developed and expanded to later became McLaren Vale as we know it today. History has seen the property used by both Mrs Jarrad as a village shop and as John Ferris saddlery. Now a character packed residence that has been beautifully enhanced by the current owners, the property offers quaint living premises in a pretty street at the edge of town. There are certain things that you would expect to find in a property such as this and Kaos Cottage does not fail to deliver: From the front picket fence, pretty country style gardens and rustic red brick paved verandahs front and rear, right through to lofty matchboard and pressed metal ceilings, rustic timber doors, cute sash windows, exposed stone walls and large open fireplaces. Every corner presents a blast from the past combined with sympathetic modern day comfort and quality.
