Your first impressions will be what a gracious street appeal this exquisite bluestone villa commands. A statement property where history meets the present with a timeless elegant appeal. The entrance hallway, with its soaring 3.65 metre ceilings, polished floor boards, leadlight and ornate features sets the tone, stylish while still being welcoming and practical. Extending on that theme was our owners comment "it doesn't matter what we are doing everyone just ends up around the kitchen bench, be it a casual meal or party." This is more by design than luck, the spacious Carrara marble island sits six people and we love the book shelving and parquetry flooring which creates a really special environment. Appliances include 2 Bosch ovens plus induction cooktop and the must have butler's pantry and wine cellar. The kitchen looks out onto the large open plan living and dining space, again featuring jarrah parquetry flooring, expansive windows and sliding doors that lead you seamlessly onto the rear deck, pool and designer garden. Reflective of the spacious nature of the home is the formal lounge where you could host a cocktail party or maybe an intimate winter get together with family and friends. There is also a fully fitted out office. Accommodation comprises of up to five bedrooms, the jewel of the crown being the master wing featuring a decorative fireplace, ensuite and a 15 sqm parent retreat or dressing room with his and hers built in robes. Four more double bedrooms are serviced by the family bathroom plus laundry with separate w/c. The garden is an experience: it's a sequence of rooms…as much a part of the home as is the kitchen, imagine the fun you will have in this entertaining oasis, the pool, the deck, the outdoor kitchen and the fully matured garden. It is the finishing touch on this glorious family home. There is ample off street parking for up to five cars, 1 under croft garage plus mezzanine, 2 carport with direct access to the home and 2 more off street spaces. This superbly appointed home is located in the very epicentre of the eastern suburbs, a 2 minute walk to Marryatville Shopping Centre the Hula Hoop and cinema and a 4 minute drive to Burnside Village. The picturesque Tusmore Park is right around the corner with facilities for families to enjoy. Zoned for Marryatville High and Primary School, and walking distance to Pembroke College and Loreto Girls College. This is one of those very special opportunities to secure your "forever" family home! This stately villa offers you a grand, spacious lifestyle. Please, don't let it slip through your fingers!
