The street appeal of this beautiful four bedroom home in the heart of McLaren Vale stopped our team in its tracks. With over 100 ornamentals and succulents rolling over stone terraces sculpted by local identity, Tiger (see the boundary wall at Pennys Hill winery), the front garden is a burst of colour. From the front verandah, this four bedroom home on a 789m2 block overlooks a quiet street and out across the ranges above McLaren Vale, providing a sense of quiet space. Built in 1992, the home features a large private lounge room with Coonara gas fire, which leads in to a formal dining through lead-lit French doors. The open plan kitchen / family room has room for a country dining table and informal lounge, centring around a quality combustion heater for warmth in the winter. The master bedroom has bay windows, a generous walk in robe, and ensuite bathroom with his and hers double sink. Bedrooms two, three and four are of modest size, all with built in robes and ducted air, and share a renovated family bathroom with spa tub. Secure sliding doors from the family room lead into an all-season undercover patio / BBQ area (5 x 5.5m) with shade cloth walling perfect for outdoor entertaining or a game of cards on a sunny afternoon. The back garden is as entertaining to the eye as the front, with further terraced stone walling, and a multitude of flowering plants surrounding a manicured lawn drawn together by a functional fountain featuring an engaging cherub. The garden boasts a number of well-established fruit trees (plums and apricots), and enjoys wonderful summer shade from a neighbouring pepper tree. A secure garden shed (3 x 5m) supports the garden, as does ~2500L of rainwater storage spread across three tanks. The automatic double car garage provides further storage. The home has state of the art NBN supplying the fastest internet in Australia, electric hot water and ducted evaporative cooling system throughout. Just 2 minutes from a local park and playground and a quick stroll to the cafes, shops and amenities of McLaren Vales main street, this wonderful, colourful property offers a great lifestyle for a young family or garden focussed retiring couple.
